One summer, we built PaisleyMonkey.com and opened for business online that October. Over the years we've grown our offering of unique and wonderful products and expanded to serve clients across the United States and many countries around the world.
We worked with local artists Gary and Laura Dumm to redesign PaisleyMonkey.com and bring it a more polished (and FUN!) look. Gary is best known for his artwork in Harvey Pekar's American Splendor comic book. Laura is a multi-talented freelance graphic artist/illustrator with a penchant for playful, bright color pallettes in beautifully detailed works. We opened Paisley Monkey in Lakewood, Ohio! This cozy little storefront was in the First Federal of Lakewood building, just north of Detroit Avenue on Warren Road and offered approximately 350 square feet jam-packed with cute!
Paisley Monkey moved to a new, much larger, storefront in Lakewood, Ohio at 14417 Detroit Avenue, between Lincoln and Marlowe. With this new space, a play area, fitting room and seats for tired shoppers were added.
We doubled the size of our sales floor by expanding into a space right next door. We've also expanded our collection and size range.
Sigh... COVID-19 has closed our storefront. We miss your smiling faces but want to make sure that everyone is safe. We'll reopen when we're comfortable with that. You can still shop online or via phone. We offer free gift wrap along with curbside pick-up, shipping and local delivery.
