First published in 1916, this beautifully illustrated and attractively shaped Christmas book tells the story of a boy named Teddy who flies to the North Pole to see Santa. He gets to feed the reindeer, help Santa in his workshop and also to help him pack his sleigh. After all of Teddy's adventures he is delivered safely home just in time for Christmas morning. The illustrations are by Margaret Evans Price, whose charming work graces some of our most popular publications. She was married to one of the founders of the Fisher Price toy company, and her illustrations served as the basis for some of their early products.
